The intervention preserves the two original areas: the interior room, reinterpreted as a loggia, and the exterior room, reinterpreted as a terrace-greenhouse. The former, defined by arched porticos, functions as an intimate forum where existing woodwork and Mexican cultural objects coexist with participatory pieces. Four sofas arranged in a circle frame an open space for conversations and encounters between different generations and perspectives.
The second area, conceived as a transition between neighboring courtyards, is enclosed by a reddish compressed earth wall that evokes the soils of central Mexico, contrasting with pieces crafted using textiles and techniques from various generations. This gesture bridges tradition and contemporaneity, while the natural crossing of paths encourages people to meet and exchange experiences. The Loggia Room thus becomes an intersection and a sanctuary: a laboratory of collectivity where design and life integrate into a shared experience.
